Sharon Stone can combine the two hardest-to-come-by assets an actress can project on-screen: Character credibility and believablity. When watching Basic Instinct, Sharon was transformed into "Catherine Trammell". This is something even Halle Berry (as hard as this is to believer for some) cannot do as I call her Halle Berry in all her films. I kept calling Sharon Stone, Catherine and correcting myself. I would have given the movie a 10, but the scenes with Catherine Trammell's female lover (although a hottie in her own right) facing off against Michael Douglas was a bit of a distraction. Her demise was equally a distraction from the film as most suspense hounds may have never suspected her as the killer anyways.
