you're in you're out hello goodbye and that's all there is too it. the first 40 minutes of this film is the perfect microcosm of Ameirca.

Great flick. A Las Vegas, more upscale version of Goodfellas.

I saw this film and I didn't like it because it was gory and had a lot of violence in but the acting was good.

The script is excellent and well-written. Pileggi writes one of the greatest scripts.

Casino is the best Italian mob film of all times. It's pretty much a sequel to Goodfellas which was also a spectacular film. Nobody does it better than Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi. Robert DiNiro, Joe Pesci, Sharon Stone, and Frank Vincent were phenominal in that film. What I like most about the film was the narrating between DiNiro and Pesci. Both men told the story about the conspiracy from A to Z. DiNiro and Pesci mentions every little detail of the story. I wish a lot of mob films can be this spectacular.

Casino was great, but the book tells it completely different. The film was not really the way of it, I guess for dramatic purposes they changed a few things around. Actually, in the end, Ace Rothstein(Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal) ended up in the "Black Book" and was permanantly barred from all casinos. Years of him fighting the Gaming Commission's ruling sadly amounted to nothing. That is stated at the end of the book.

An R-rating is not sufficient for anything as real life as this. The US combatants in the Middle East don't even have it this bad on the battlefield. Wikileaks will not even host the script. So can you imagine? This is cold-blooded, ruthless and satanically dark. Deliberate cruelty is their desert. The only movie closest to this might possibly be 'The Crew'. Enough said.

What is Hi-Lo Switch Pro? HiLo Switch Pro Series takes the basic principles of our existing High Low poker game and then ups the ante with more thrills, more surprises and more chances to win. Three cards are dealt face-up. All you have to do is pick one and decide whether the next card will be higher or lower. If you don’t like your card selection, you can use the 'Switch' function to get new cards. As you play, you can earn more opportunities to 'switch' up your spread, which means your chances of winning big are even better.

I had the pleasure and the honor of playing the 'COWBOY' in this film and being directed by the most incredibly talented director I believe working in cinema today, but unfortunately, this script version is not the Original script that Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi wrote. It's a play by play (verbatim) version of the final cut and answer print of the film everyone has had the pleasure of seeing, but it's NOT the original. I'm not sure where the "original" screenplay might be viewed, but for true historians and film buffs alike, if you believe that what you read here in this script version was what was originally written, then I must tell you- it isn't. I personally improvised a few of my lines and was given the freedom as an actor to embellish upon what was put in front of me, and I must tell you, as an actor, given that creative lattitude by a director and actors such as Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci was as close as an out of body experience that one could imagine. That creative safety net that those artists afforded me was a once in a lifetime experience that I know I will more than likely never be able to achieve ever again. It's the class and dignity (not to mention the talent)for which Mr. Scorsese and Mr. Deniro embody that has the creative world knocking down their doors for the opportunity just to breathe the same air. I was one of the fortunate ones, and because of the Grace of God and my Angel of a Mother, I was able to fulfil a dream and work with the best of the best in my chosen profession. May God Bless all of you and may you have at least one opportunity in life (like I had) to shine in your profession of choice. All the best, Craig Vincent.

To commenter Lou, yes this Movie is gory because it it based on a true story. Some stories are that way. Though some stories recreated on the Movie screen are a minor in comparison to the real life events that had taken place. I know this for a fact concerning the characters in "Casino". I was watching The History Channel story about Ace Rosenthal, the character to whom the DeNiro's is based on. His story is more gory than what was portrayed on screen. I find this Movie about the inner working of Mobster running a Casino very interesting. I like this Movie better than "Goodfellas", the other DeNiro/Scorcese Movie.

This was an awesome mob flick, it had several intense scenes, it had funny moments, OH SHIT moments, good music, suspense, some good shootouts, blood and gore, and great performances from Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, if those two are in something together, IT HAS TO BE GOOD, they should definitely show this during mob week on amc, I'd definitely catch it as soon as it came on.
