User Comments for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Jessica (10 out of 10 )
Amazing. Abso-bloody-lutly amazing.

Marlne (10 out of 10 )
Goblet of Fire movie is fabulous even though there's not enough Professor Snape (played flawlessly by Mr. Alan Rickman!). IMSDb's presentation of the GoF script is such a fantastic service to we fans! Thank you very much!

squims (8 out of 10 )
Will there be a draft of the actual script by Steve Kloves soon? Just want to know.

Sio (10 out of 10 )
Thanks so much :) GOF is awesome

Susan (8 out of 10 )
This is clearly just a transcribed version of the movie. Hopefully you'll be getting an actual copy of the script soon so we can read the deleted scenes. We know of numerous scenes that were filmed but cut from the final film and the only way to know the dialogue, etc., is to see the script as written by Kloves. None of these deleted scenes (or stage directions) can be found in this transcribed movie version.

Mira (10 out of 10 )
I like it very much!!!!!!!!!!1Thanks

Max (8 out of 10 )
The movie was good but some parts of the story will jumble the audience to the next part of the famous wizard story. Not all the sub-plots made it into the screen like for instance:SPEW. Also some characters didn't appear. But the movie was great. You can't make a movie four hours long that is thrillling. Newell did excellent with the time frame he had. And the acting of Dumbledore is amazing. Micheal Gambon does the headmaster like Richard Harris, also Mad Eye is exactly what his character acts like in the book

caro (10 out of 10 )
How wonderful! Thanks!!!!!!

Cathryn (10 out of 10 )
That scrip was amazingly short, you'd think movie scripts would be a lot longer what with a ll the details in the movie itself and stuff, the extra words they didn't have in there and crap...

Mrs. Ronald Weasley (9 out of 10 )
This movie is briliant!!! I love it! Rupert's acting was super as well as the rest of the cast

Cristina (10 out of 10 )
Yeah...this script pretty much pwns. aha.

Nicole (10 out of 10 )
It's a dream come true to find the GoF script on the Net. Awesome!

tharine (10 out of 10 )
hello!!! i love harry potter and the Goblet of Fire Script!!! excellent!!

Pixie Fairy (10 out of 10 )
ITS AMAZING! BEST FILM IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND DANIELS SOOOOOOO FIT!

Ana Carolina (10 out of 10 )

I Have the books: *Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1st) *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2nd) *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (3th) *Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (4th) *Harry Potter and the Fawkes (5th) *Harry Potter and the Half - Blood Prince (6th) Ok, i says much, i really on from the website for says: I Love Harry Potter!!!! Bye, thanks for all!!!!!

Naty (6 out of 10 )
The script is so great!!! What a pity the movie is so different from the book!!

court (10 out of 10 )
so cool! best movie yet!!

fleaur - real name! (10 out of 10 )
This was such a great movie!! I really appreciate them being able to give us the script!!

kiki (1 out of 10 )
I didn't like it at all! It's so different from the book. And not a bit funny!

delilah (7 out of 10 )
Good movie! A bit dark but okay! I love Ron!

Stormrider (2 out of 10 )
Awful, just awful! Horrible pacing, unnaturally written dialogue (why everyone keeps blaming for that George Lucas who writes decent scripts but is totally blind to such scriptwriting abomination as the Goblet of Fire is beyond me!!!???), oh and did I mention the horrible pacing (considering Harry Potter is strongly plot dependent and in such case good pacing is essential)? In short: totally misguided, talentless and unprofessional effort. Don't waste your time on either the movie or the script (unless you want to learn how NOT to write movie scripts). It doesn't do justice to the story.

Maverick (5 out of 10 )
I agree with Stormrider. I love the books and I like the movie. But that doens´t change the fact, that the script sucks. It could be a lot better - and besides, George Lucas is awsome - I mean comon, Peter Jackson managed it to adapt The Lord of the rings, so what is the problem with Harry Potter?

Heidi (10 out of 10 )
It's great. I loved the movie. Especially Rupert Grint (Ron) and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) were great. But they're all good actors. But it's very different from the book, but still a brilliant film!

Steve 17 (10 out of 10 )
I think both Stormrider and Maverick are messed up, if u guys are naive enough to think that you can fit everything from a 636 page book into 3 hours, you're retarded. The script was wonderful, comic at times, to relieve the overall darkness of the film and only the key parts were left in, very exciting!

luna lovegood (9 out of 10 )
i think is a wonderfull film. But the book is better and they do a lot of cut. The Dursley must appear if you read the fifth book you know why i said that.

Joshua Scales (10 out of 10 )
I thought this film was as Harry said to Cedric after he asked how he was doing: "Spectacular!" This is the best movie so far in the series!!! I'll probably say different when "Order of the Pheonix" comes out, but it was totally great! I mean, the acting was perfect, and everything was on point. I don't care that these movies aren't exactly like the books, because they're still cool all the same. If they were exact, than those movies would be at least 2-3 hrs. long!!! Daniel,Emma, & Rupert gave an exceptional performance as always ever since film one!! Well they better keep doing there thing, and see if I can come on set one film!

Vanessa (10 out of 10 )
I loved this movie, it was the best so far! I disagree with many of the professional reviews that said it was the worst...I believe it was the best. It stayed true to the original story line and although there was a lot cut from the plot, enough was kept in to make it enjoyable! It wasn't hard to follow, as was PoA, which is good for those who saw the movie but hadn't read the book. I discussed it with a co-worker who hadn't read the book and she understood exactly what was going on...unlike PoA...I also saw that with someone who hadn't read the book and I kept having to pause the movie to explain what was going on...particulary Harry's patronus and the Marauders Map. Anyway...yes, I did greatly enjoy this movie. I've seen it twice and plan on seeing it again. Soon.

Hibz (10 out of 10 )
This movie was excellent.. eventhough it missed out on lots of detail from the book it was still put together wonderfully.. it had a bit of everything love, fear, happiness and sadness, it was full of acton and the features and graphics were excellent...the movie was great no doubt about it

melanie (10 out of 10 )
I love the three kids! Ron,Hermione,Harry! This is the most amazing movie, i think

Limey (1 out of 10 )
Hairy Botter and the Knob that's on Fire! That about sums it up for me, really.

Limey (1 out of 10 )
P.S: Didn't think much of the first three movies either: Hairy Botter and the Officer's Bone Hairy Botter and the Dark Chamber of Secretion Hairy Botter and the Prisoner's Botty Man

Chris (1 out of 10 )
I thought the films as far as quality were great! But what it supports is demonic witch craft and shows that some witch craft is good and some is bad. Witch craft is fully evil. It is satanic and has already cause many people to do things they shouldn't have. Even if you don't think witch craft is real, it is. I'm not talking about taking a wand and saying a word and the tip of the wand lights up. I'm talking about those who are posessed by demons. That's what witch craft truly is. Where did TRUE entertainment go?

james (10 out of 10 )
Ummmm.....I don't mean to be rude to IMSDB, they're great, but uh...where's the rest of the script with deleted scenes, etc.? The movie was excellent, though.

Miss Diggory (10 out of 10 )
This is the best movie ever! Robert Pattinson did a great job. But there were some mistakes. Moody is not an "aura", he's an AUROR! And Ron doesn't wan't "drewballs"! It's DROOBLES.

Hannah (4 out of 10 )
This is obviously just a transcript, not an actual script. And I know I'm not the only one who noticed that there's quite a few mistakes...

Duhhh (8 out of 10 )
Thanks for pointing that out Captain Obvious! If you read even the first few lines it's clearly labelled as a transcript.

Lee (10 out of 10 )
I think the movie was absolutely positively 100% amazing. Daniel Radcliffe's hot and act so good that makes the movie believable enough to have made me cry when cedric died!! That was so sad!

Aurelien Riddle (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is the best movie for me. Congratulations, Mike Newel. Thanks you for this fortune, Joanne Rowling, Thank you ! I and Harry, it's for ever !

nora (10 out of 10 )
i think the movie was okay but what i truly enjoyed was the comments right here they made me laugh and wonder

Mia (10 out of 10 )
Awesome! I noticed a few spelling mistakes but still good!

Nicole (8 out of 10 )
Ginny is the girl who said, "He just asked Fleur Delaccour out". Haha Moody has some funny lines and there are sexual references.

alyaa (10 out of 10 )
This is perfect. Now i know what happened when i was in the bathroom! I love Harry Rotter movies!

rexkos (10 out of 10 )
It's my favourite fillm, but unfortunately it is very short!

jeff (10 out of 10 )
Wow. This was Bloody-Hell Good.

Sarah (10 out of 10 )
I loved it it was watching the movies again but at home!!!!!!!! I totaly LOVE Harry Potter movies i can't wait for the net one. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skye (10 out of 10 )
I loved the movies and the books. There were a lot of differences from the book and the movie but the book is so long!!!! They wouldn't have been able to put every detail in there.

apple (9 out of 10 )
i think it was a great movie but i hate the new dombledore hes horrible, but all in all it was good

Tyler (8 out of 10 )
it was entertaining, but the book is so much better

Dakota (10 out of 10 )
Loved it. It was practically perfect. God Bless J.K. Rowling and her brilliant creation of Harry Potter. I'd be lost without him.

Draco'sTwinSis (6 out of 10 )
They did a good job but it cut waaay too much of the plot. I liked it but it was very plain.

Kassandra (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter is an amazing book and the movies that follow the books are amazing. The fourth movie was perfect. It was amazing.Harry is so cute!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOO J.K Rowling

kirsti (10 out of 10 )
harry potter is about the best i have ever seen and read. I think most of the boys in mostly the fourth film are cute! I hope J.K Rowling brings out more films and books!!!

missy (10 out of 10 )
i love this movie. i saw it last monday(dec. 26th)

randomperson (8 out of 10 )
It was good, but they cut out too much, and Cedric was too cute to die. =3

anonymous (8 out of 10 )
I thought it was okay. Though, it's like all the other movies, they start out REALLY good, and so they make more. The more the make, the director's start to change, and as they go along they get tackier and cheesier. The only series that i've seen that isn't like that is Star Wars. I think Columbus should've directed all of them. Even though the fourth one wasn't great, i think three stunk the most.

hermione (10 out of 10 )
I just loved the film... but the book was better. I love harry, he's so cute... looking forward to the 7th book and the 5th, 6th and 7th movie. Some of you are right it's not easy to adapt 600 pages to a 3 hour movie, it's a lot of job and it was obvios that some parts from the book would be missing.

Danny (9 out of 10 )
I thought it was the best yet and i have never seen better .

Erin (5 out of 10 )
I like the part where Fred and George fight because it is funny

Rak (10 out of 10 )
I Think the movie and script are amazing though i did find a mistake on the end. It is Priori Incantatem not Priorium Contatum

Phil (4 out of 10 )
Horribly paced. I could crap out a better script than this.

Sara (10 out of 10 )
This one has to be the best Harry Potter movie so far!!! Feels like you wanna see it again and again and again.. :D

mr.x (4 out of 10 )
They changed it too much for my liking.

Amy (7 out of 10 )
This movie was the best one yet. Although it did move waaaay too fast in the beginning, and if you hadnt read the book you would've had absolutely no idea what the heck was going on (like when they all go to the quidditch world cup), it was kind of necessary otherwise it wouldve been a seven hour movie. It was so cool, and dark and scary and still a little bit happy. Best line: [when neville gives harry the gillyweed for the second task, and harry doesnt come up out of the water] "OH MY GOD! I"VE KILLED HARRY POTTER!" And so its probably not 'technically the greatest movie in the world, but it's still great to watch.

ker-plop (8 out of 10 )
I haven't read the book, but the movie seemed fast-paced, but good...

hermione (10 out of 10 )
brilliant do you know how to find fleurs dress because it is so cool

Morgan Weasley (10 out of 10 )
I love this movie! I love Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley)! I saw this movie with my best friend Sarah the day after it came out! I can't wait for the DVD to come out, which is March 7th.

Lincutzu (10 out of 10 )
Brilliant!!!!!!! Although lots of scenes have been cut out it's by far the best film Harry Potter yet! They should make the fifth part a lot more detailed because if you haven't read the book you don't understand all the things. And Cho is bloody-hell gorgeous!!!!!!!

Hermione Granger 19 (10 out of 10 )
The movie is simply brilliant! Hermione looks absolutely stunning at the Yule Ball. Emma is so beautiful and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) soooooo cute!!! We still have to wait so long for the DVD to come out!

j-dogg (10 out of 10 )
You guyz rock

Ratchet Jak (10 out of 10 )
HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The movie was so great, I thought I would die if I didn't watch it again soon. I have noticed how the books and the movies get a lot 'darker'. It makes the stories a whole more interesting!! I hope the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD comes out soon, or I will have to turn to the Dark side. ^^ _ ^^

Jessi (1 out of 10 )
Oh my god this film was nothing like the book, nothing at all like the book. I'm sorry but I'd prefer to sit through a 4 hour film and it be amazingly brilliant. There were so many things missing and too much happened too fast! Lets hope they learn from their mistakes and make the 5th one brill.

ale (10 out of 10 )
great! loved it!

Kevin Anderson (1 out of 10 )
Come on dudes, what the hell was with that movie? Granted it would have been good if I had never read the book, but the movie was just so incomplete in comparison. If you're going to make a movie based on such an amazing book (like LOTR) you should at least be able to live up to your standards. In my opinion the director really messed up the movies bad after the first one... that dumbass started using his own ideas rather than the initially good books. And this is to all you morons who say "OMG I absolutely loved it, greatest movie ever"....you've never actually read the book have you?... or else you would never be so ignorant as to praise a move that left so freakin' much to be desired. God.. I hope they get a new director to salvage the next 4 books that they turn into movies (by the way it is next 4, 1 year at hogwarts and 3 to find, weaken, and kill voldemort)...either that or I hope they actually do a remake of the series in 40 years (so I know I'll be alive) where it's actually got a decent director. Over all rating 1/10.....the actors were good but the plot was messed up... and to all of your who disagree with me...... just get over yourselves.

Thomas (10 out of 10 )
Great movie. Best one so far.

Amber (7 out of 10 )
The movie was ok but if they made the script follow the book it would have been a lot better.

Hafiz Saadon (10 out of 10 )
The scripts and the lines for each character are spectacular amazing... Absolutely the best one!!!!

Claudia (10 out of 10 )
I think it's the best one of the 4 they've made this far. It is truth indeed that it sucks compared to the book, but c'mon guys, could you possibly put that many pages in say 3 or 4 hours? And anyways, I dare those who said the script sucked to write something better! Maybe we have next script stars among us! You know nothing about book adaptation if you seriously intend the writer to include the whole book. And since they don't do this for "love of the arts" of course they gotta put something from their own brains, so the movie sells more, and anyhow it's their money they're investing, they ought the right of making some addings and creative stuff. Plus they turned out great, movie is a hit, 8th wonder!! Love u all! Every one's free to write me!

Rachel (10 out of 10 )
This movie is awesome! I saw it 5 times in the theatre! and Daniel Radcliffe is sooooo hot in this movie! especially when he fights Voldemort! And even though they didn't put Winky or Dobby in the story line it still worked out! Wanna go see an awesome movie? SEE THIS!

nora potter (10 out of 10 )
I loved the movie it was so cool but the book was a bit better I read all the books 5 times and the 6 book twice they're so awesome.

Kate (9 out of 10 )
I thought it was brilliant. Mike Newell is, in my opinion, the best director of the series so far. I loved Alfonso, don't get me wrong, but PoA was too choppy for someone who hasn't read the books (as I found when my brother kept leaning over to ask me what was going on). And I was disappointed that the Marauders' story wasn't told. It would have taken about 7 extra minutes...But that's beside the point. I usually regard the movies as a completely different entity than the books anyway. It's nearly impossible to keep every little detail the same, so obviously the storyline is going to be different...I do agree that it was fast-paced (especially the beginning...Quidditch to Hogwarts in 10 minutes flat, and that's one of the reasons I knocked off a point). I don't mean to sound like a fangirl, but Daniel Radcliffe is OMGosh so CUTE! (Sorry, had to get that out of my system) And for the record, I cried during the Priori Incantatem scene (when Harry sees his parents..sob!) and when Harry is crying over Cedric's body. I've seen it four times and it always gets me. So overall, I loved it!

jmh (10 out of 10 )
The best movie yet! The yule ball was the best part.

jas (10 out of 10 )
This is the best movie I ever seen. I totally love harry, cedric, viktor. the girls i liked was hermione, fleur, ginny, mcgonagall.

Allison Higginbotham (8 out of 10 )
I don't know if anyone addressed this. I didn't feel like reading it all, but I think there is a part missing from the script. It's when they've just found out about Barty Crouch Jr. being Moody. And Dumbledore says something about Harry's arm and Harry says something like I couldn't stop it. Something like that. Does anyone know the line? Anyways I really liked how funny this movie was and I liked the end how it wasn't all happy. My favorite part was when Harry came out of the maze with Cedric's body and everyone was clapping. Brillance. Oliver Phelps rocks!

Jess (8 out of 10 )
There's a few mistakes but otherwise it's great. Definately the best movie so far. Dan, Rupert and Rob are so HOTT!!!!!

Jennifer Holmberg (10 out of 10 )
What can I say! I absolutely L-O-V-E it! My family & friends think I'm crazy. Just because I've seen it about 8 or 9 times. I don't think it could have been better actually! And I love the actors - they're the greatest! I'm gonna marry James Phelps, he's hilarious:) I love everything about it and now I can't wait until the next one! The greatest movie of the 4 and the best movie from 2005 :)

Nora (10 out of 10 )
This movie was brilliant. Everyone of my friends thought is was the best movie ever. My favorite part was when Harry was fighting the dragon.

christopher (10 out of 10 )
I think the film was excellent I think the cast did a great job.

Nathalie (9 out of 10 )
There's obviously someone here, there isn't so much into fantasy and witchcraft type of movies! What a shame for them. But you know, there is 9 planets (that we know of), and they are clearly not from the earth! I really, really, really wanna give this movie a 10, but there's so much from the book, they've left out!

annerieke (10 out of 10 )
This movie is excellent. I like the actors and also the writers.

Courtney (7 out of 10 )
I liked it! I was a little disapointed that a lot of parts were left out of the book! Great special FX!! Good movie. Daniel Radcliff you are soooo hot!!!!!

Caroline (10 out of 10 )
Hey what's up people? Dan Radcliffe is hot and y'all are not. Ha,Ha,Ha!

barry (1 out of 10 )
You people are so confused. The script was, ahhh, the movie, ewwww, you gotta be kidding me. The loser playing Duble won't even read the books, and we can tell with his horrrible acting. I hate Mike Newell, the art director set design team should be shot. You people who think it's good, you're allowed to, but just keep it to yourself then because you know nothing about how to tell a story or how to adapt a novel. Come on. It was as bad as Uwe Boll's garbage he calls movies. I'd rather have another 4 years of Bush then either of these turds touch another movie.

lailey (8 out of 10 )
The movie was great! I also loved the book. I just read the script of it and it was cool. But the lines for the characters didn't give you absolute information. But the guy who plays Harry Potter is hot and the guy who plays Ron is 7 out of 10 hot too now that he's grown more.

vansh (10 out of 10 )
Great movie and book.

cheema (5 out of 10 )
I love potter but movie 4 has disappointed me.

power4350 (4 out of 10 )
This movie did most of the beginning scenes well, but was written without any regard for the continuity of the overall story. Too many holes in the big story and clumsy patchwork to make up for them. The worst Harry Potter movie so far, not worthy of the series.

Jenusha (10 out of 10 )
This is the best Harry Potter show I have ever seen. I hope the fifth one is even better.

SlytheringGurl (10 out of 10 )
Anyone who didn't like the movie HAS SOME MENTAL ISSUES! This was the best one yet. I am still saying if you rated 1 out of 10, YOU HAVE PROBLEMS THAT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT. Say all you want but we all know that if you rated it a 1 out of 10 you're lying. So why are you even commenting if you didn't like it?

SlytherinBabe (10 out of 10 )
Pure gutted Tom Felton wasn't in a lot of it :(

jawadg18 (10 out of 10 )
It is fantastically bombastic. Critics find their way every time, just like persons saying that it doesn't imitate the whole book, does it matter?

shauna (10 out of 10 )
This was the best Harry Potter film I have seen yet but I am hoping I can say the same about the next film (5th book). I think people like what they like but if you dont like it say nothing and don't comment because we're just here to write what we like about it. I loved this one and Cedric keep up the good looks also Harry you're nice looking too so I can't wait to see the next one and can't wait to see if any new hot fellas are in it. This is the rating it deserves.

spencer (10 out of 10 )
It was so great I liked it better than all the other 3 movies put together. Harry Potter 4 was plain awesome.

kacey (10 out of 10 )
I loved the fourth movie so much, it was so good! I think it was the best out of all of them so far. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD and I can't wait until the fifth movie comes out. I think that Harry and Hermione should be together though. It should be Harry/Hermione, Ron/Luna, Ginny/Neville, yeah! But the movie was great.

Alan Rickman (10 out of 10 )
I love Snape and Lupin and Alan Rickman rocks the world forever!

Piers (10 out of 10 )
I thought it was wicked. Can't wait for the next one and the next and the next etc.

Dylan Rhoney (1 out of 10 )
First who the bloody hell is Mike Newell, I mean a no-name director then cut about 50% of the book out come on. I mean these fools made the film as bad as the 40 Year Old Virgin which was a no-score movie in my opinion. I think Columbus was a better director than Couron or Newell at least he kept the movie and book in order. Of course I don't think Couron was half bad but I hate Newell.

Lisa (10 out of 10 )
I really like the movie it was great but it could have have been longer and had more stuff in it. They could have put in Hermione helping Harry with accio spell, S.P.E.W. and the Durleys. Longer is better, or 2 regular. Here's a tip: Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2.

hp-gurl (10 out of 10 )
You all who gave it one star have issues. Yeah, maybe it didn't follow the book perfectly, but I would like to see YOU write a flawless script from a 633 page novel that would please millions of fans around the world. Good luck, because you're gonna need it. I think it is the best one so far. The acting is FAR superior to the first 3 films, and the script is way better than the third one. The third one is just way too awkward and corny. The first two were cool because they were really true to the books, but they are kinda little-kiddish. This one is great!

Gabriella (10 out of 10 )
How can you hate it? I have seen it on dvd 31 times and 5 in the movies!

Helenorr (1 out of 10 )
Gracious me, t'was horrific! The moral of this... READ BOOKS!

Miss Potter (10 out of 10 )
Anybody who gave this movie a rating below 9 is a fool! Hell yeah it's an awesome movie. Ron and his twin brothers just get hotter every movie! (not to mention Harry).

Miss Potter (10 out of 10 )
Anybody who has a problem with me needs to be smitten by Voldemort! ;-) Harry is HOT and Draco is a spoiled (explicit content 0:-)). When I track down whoever rated it lower than a 3, i'll strap you to a giant hot metal chair and make you watch it 'till your eyes fall out of your heads. Then i'll make you eat them out of the toilet once the movie is over and have you watch it while you slowly fall apart! ^..^ MUAHAHAHA!

mrs. radcliffe (10 out of 10 )
Who said that Harry Potter 4 was bad because I'm soo mad. That was the best movie I ever saw in my life. I rate this way over 10.

katryna melton (10 out of 10 )
I loved the movie. If I could, I would rate the movie an 11.

emily (10 out of 10 )
I love the movie, it should be like a 90 billion lol.

maddy (1 out of 10 )
DREADFUL! Bad from the beginning script, looked like a first draft and had none of the brilliance of the first 3. Why isn't there a 0 rating for these?

Sarah (10 out of 10 )
I LOVED THIS MOVIE! Just because all the guy-characters are so gorgeous. People who read the book just think it's horrible because filmmakers don't have enough time to make a 7 hour movie!

Joy (7 out of 10 )
I love Harry Potter. Who could not like it? 10 is not high enough!

Amanda (10 out of 10 )
I love this movie very much and wish for anyone who hasn't seen it to go and watch it. It will blow your mind away! It was better than the others. I love the new characters as much as the old ones. The cast and crew did a wonderful job putting this movie together and I can't wait to own it on dvd and watch it over and over again!

anna franek (10 out of 10 )
I think it was very good.

Lauren Radcliffe (10 out of 10 )
OMG! I love Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire so much! Anyone who thinks it's bad is rubbish. I am so excited for it to come out on MARCH 7, 2006 (hint hint). I think that Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are so HOT! I love Harry Potter so much and I can't wait for the other movies and books to come out. This is the best movie I have seen so far, all of my friends and I are going to watch it over and over again. This movie should be rated way over what...100 zillion! Over the highest number in the world! Anyway I'm preparing to watch it like 100 times! Well who wouldn't? I LOVE HARRY POTTER!

Lauren (10 out of 10 )
OK! How do I even get started? To all the people who gave a 7 or above to this movie, I adore you! But to the freakin idiots who gave a 6 or below: I don't think you understand what you are talking about! You can't even make a movie if you tried. I've seen this movie 5 times so I know what I'm talking about and I've read the books over 6 times EACH! And if you are complaining that they left parts out you are really so wrong because a movie is never perfect, you can't always have every single detail in movies. Yeah I know it's disappointing but you just can't. So I suggest you stop complaining or people are going to have to find you and kick your ass because you are taking this a little too over the edge. I'm not trying to be mean I'm just trying to talk some sense into you so you don't have to make this mistake again! And I know that you are thinking that a lot of people who are giving a 10 to this movie haven't read the books yet, but actually they probably have or they wouldn't be on this website putting what they think about this movie on this website if they didn't like Harry Potter A LOT! So I think you should watch your mouth and keep negative comments to yourself. Like I said , I'm not being negative I'm just trying to change your minds. Anyway I LOVE HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE! I don't really care that they left parts out, I'm just glad that this movie came out and that is a favorite!

KOKE (10 out of 10 )
It's really a good movie, perhaps one of the best movies this year. The actors really put their full spirits in there. Well, the movie is much better than the previous one, much more fun and more action. That's brilliant.

Omkar (10 out of 10 )
SWEET! This is the greatest Harry Potter movie ever. Please watch it.

Josh (7 out of 10 )
The book is a lot better. The movie didn't really live up to the previous films in my opinion but I still loved it. Harry Potter is just a great franchise.

bill jelly (4 out of 10 )
I liked the movie about as much as driving drunk. Why was it so disjointed? A book as long as this would definitely be hard to stay true to, but one problem I have is that Dumbledor is panicky and is out of character. If truism is a problem due to size and time constraints then why add scenes like the dance lessons, the dragon getting loose, ect. These scenes took time and money to film, and left less space for the truists to complain about. I always buy the books and the movies as soon as they come out but this movie was such a stretch for me and my imagination that I will rent the next one before my decision to purchase. I feel like Hollywood got involved too far and just wanted to pump out another episode.

munni (10 out of 10 )
This is the greatest movie ever, I like to watch "Harry Potter" movies.

Sam (3 out of 10 )
Urrrgh! Mkay I heart the Harry Potter series, but this totally disappointed me. Everyone's confused saying its completely fantastic - they cut out like 50% of the book! I mean the Quidditch World Cup is supposed to be an amazing thing and "oh yay it only happens once a year" and "it's amazingly hard to get tickets" and all of that. JK made it such a big deal in the book and you basically dont even find out who won in the movie if you havent read the book. Plus some of the characters dont appear and even Hermione's whole deal with SPEW, which screws up the fifth because she's so adament about being nice to Kreacher. I mean, c'mon when the guy who plays Dumbledore won't even read the books you know there's a problem. Who the hell is Mike Newell?! Columbus totally did a better job. Overall it didn't thrill me.

Amiee (4 out of 10 )
I agree, I love Harry Potter (Dan's so hot) but it didn't amaze me. I thought this was going to be one of the best because it was Voldemort's return and everything but Hollywood got WAY too involved. I'm sort of over the Harry Potter movies because it's very commercialized now and it's sort of ruining the essense.

Caroline (9 out of 10 )
I thought it was a great movie but it was a little scary. I love the Harry Potter movies!

Hermione twin (10 out of 10 )
Oh my gosh I look exactly like Hermione (Emma), I even have 3 little bumps under my bottom lip! It's crazy. Anyways, I think at the end of the movie, Dumbledore should have said something about Harry like when he says, And All the pain, I would have said WENT TO HARRY! I felt so bad for Harrry I cried. I am the biggest fan of Harry Potter.

Alicia Martin (10 out of 10 )
This movie rocks, I give it ten out ten. Hermione and Fleur had the best dresses ever. Plus Draco is so hot.

Ness (8 out of 10 )
I agree with Sam. They left way too many important things out of this movie. Sure, they got all the basic premises, but none of the sub-plots were in the movie at all. I concur that Chris Columbus did a far, far better job than the new directors. Don't get me wrong, this was a really good movie and I think that it's one of the best of the 4 that have been made. CoS I think was a little better though, just because they didn't leave as much out (and they were wearing Hogwarts robes instead of muggle clothing, that really bothers me). But I think the HP movies have plummeted downhill since CC stopped directing them. And like so many other people, I can't stand the new Dumbledore. He doesn't fit the character AT ALL. Kudos to this movie though, overall.

EMMA (10 out of 10 )
I loved this movie! Especially Daniel he was amazing, I mean great. I have had the movie for 5 days and have wached it at least 20 times. I have all the movies, books, games, postersand cards. I love the series and Daniel Radcliffe :-)

SharkyxX12 (10 out of 10 )
The movie's brilliant! Best so far.

Tiffany (10 out of 10 )
It was an awesome movie. My favourite character was Rupert Grint. He is so hot! Can't wait for the next one.

Ashley (10 out of 10 )
The only thing that I want to write is BLOODY HELL! :)

M&Ms (10 out of 10 )
Blimey, the BEST movie ever!

sam (10 out of 10 )
Harry is the best he is so cute and fit.

tanya (10 out of 10 )
I thought it was great, even though they did leave a lot out. All you who don't agree can get lost!

Jamie Hodgkinson (10 out of 10 )
I love Harry Potter so much it is so good. I want to be an actor just like Daniel Radcliff I am his No 1 fan!

abuchild (6 out of 10 )
Ok first off the movie wasn't ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL and it wasn't COMPLETELY BRILLIANT, if you thought it either of those get over yourselves. The script was just a transcript and it's not the real thing anyway. The movie was good but not the best out of all of them. They left out a lot from the book which was a mistake because I'm sure a lot of REAL Harry Potter fans would agree with me on this one, but I'd much rather sit through a 5 hour movie with the whole book than what was produced. Like I mean they had to cut out the Dursley's but then they add that whole 5 minute dragon scene which by the way sucked. It just doesn't make sense. And they didn't add a lot of Sirius in it which was one of the worst decisions you could ever make because the 5th one won't be as dramatic to those who didn't read the books because to them Harry and Sirius didn't have a BIG relationship. *Spoiler* And so when Sirius dies it won't mean that much to them. On the plus side of the movie I loved the whole darkness of it though and the CG. My favorite was the Twins though. They had a lot more parts in this movie which I thought was fantastic.

Emmarules (10 out of 10 )
Emma Watson is the best and Harry Potter rules!

Hermione Granger (10 out of 10 )
One word: LOVE!

cecelia (10 out of 10 )
I agree with that girl Allison I like how it wasn't all happy and one of my favorite parts was the end when Harry came out of the maze with Cedric's body because it was really sad and everything but it was really well acted how at first everyone is cheering because they think that Harry and Cedric tied and the transition from cheering to devastation was amazing. The guy who played Cedric's dad did a really good job too how at first he's all happy because he thinks that his son won but then he's just like that's my boy that's my son - it made me cry when I saw him acting more than when Cedric actually died. I didn't like how they missed so much of the book I was really looking forward to seeing Winky and learning about S.P.E.W. because I loved the book, but I'm giving the movie ten out of ten because Daniel Radcliffe is an amazing actor and he's really hot! (he also did really good when he brought Cedric out of the maze because he kept trying to hold onto him when Dumbledore was trying to pull him off, he pulled off all of the feelings that were probably going through Harry's head at the time). Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were also amazing in their acting.

matt (10 out of 10 )
Greatest movie I ever saw!

Patry (10 out of 10 )
Amazing movie

Draco's girlfriend (10 out of 10 )
That is just so emotional and an amazing movie. Script is really amazing too.

Will (10 out of 10 )
I've watched the movie several times. It's definitely the best of The Potters yet, in my opinion. The only problem I have with it is the drama. It feels forced sometimes. The conflict between Ron and Harry for instance didn't feel justified. I felt forced to believe Ron was angry at Harry instead of coming to believe it on my own. Also, Hermione's protectiveness over Harry felt forced - there wasn't much of a dramatic build. But I guess that's what happens to a 600 page story when it's condensed. Otherwise, awesome movie. Dark, suspenseful, romantic, just great.

Ayisha (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter is one of the best movies with excellent special effects. This Harry Potter was highly emotional for me especially when Cedric was killed. This movies showed how much Harry had grown from always being the victim of criticism and being offended and that really inpired me a lot. What I am trying to say about this movie is IT ROCKS.

Tash (10 out of 10 )
I suppose that this film is one of the greatest films of our time, I am from Ukraine so when i saw it I was pretty amazed. It is so breathtaking and horroring that I could hardly understand that I'm in the cinema. Such an interresting effect.

Jenny949 (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was so cool. I love the part when Lord Voldemort and Harry were in the graveyard, it was creepy. Well, I hope you do a better job on Harry Potter 5!

Sara (10 out of 10 )
Such a good movie. It was really sad when Cedric died though :(. But it was awesome!

AMANDA (10 out of 10 )
OMFG! (Oh my Fred and George LOL). This is the best movie ever, I am Harry Potter obsessed! lol.

Ron's Girlfriend (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter 4 was so great. I love it better than 1, 2 and 3! I am such a fan of Harry Potter. I have the DVD of movies 1-4 and I have all 6 books. I have a question on Harry Potter 7? Who will die? Is it Harry or Voldemort or is it both? I know it is not Dumbledore because he died in the 6th book. Now lets talk about the 4th movie. Well it was sad when Cedric died and I loved how Mad-Eyed Moody turned Draco Malfoy into a muskrat. It was so hilarious that I fell off my chair. Another funny part is when Ron was so obsessed when he first saw Fleur Delacour in Beauxbatons.

Nymphadora (10 out of 10 )
I must say the part when McGonnagoll announces the Yule Ball and about in every girl a swan etc, Ron doesn't say "Something's about to burst out of Hilary, but I don't think it's a swan". He says "Something's about to burst out of ELOISE MIDGEON and I don't think it's a swan". Anyway, tob job! Of course there's going to be mistakes. If anyone thinks they could do better I'd like to see!

Riddle R (10 out of 10 )
WHOOOOOOO, excellent movie! Script was good and the best movie so far in the series. Shame on the people who said it was awful! I mean it was great. The third task was very creepy and the bit with Harry and Voldemort in the graveyard was the highlight of the movie. The movie was dark and scary, which I like. I was really sad when Cedric died because he was one of my fave characters. 10 out of 10 because Harry Potter rules! I'm counting down till the OOTP!

zil (10 out of 10 )
I'm chinese, also a Harry fan. I love it. It's great, wonderful, excellent!

olivia (10 out of 10 )
Absolutely amazing effects and acting. Great!

Jamie H (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter rules big time!

pooja (10 out of 10 )
It's the best movie of all. I saw it eleven times. It's cool and awesome.

Durga16 (10 out of 10 )
It was so cool! But a little creepy. I love you Harry.

Granger (10 out of 10 )
Best film. Nothing more to say!

Ellie (10 out of 10 )
Personally, I believe that anyone who takes the Harry Potter books or movies and says "Witchcraft is evil!" needs to know one thing: HARRY POTTER IS A WORK OF FANTASY! IT ISN'T REAL! GET OVER IT! Anyway, I loved the movies and have each script on my favorites list to have to read whenever I wish. I also adore the books. Definite 10/10.

F.D Sandstorm (1 out of 10 )
Daniel Radcliffe - Hairy Potter, Rupert Grint - Ron Measly, Emma Watson - Hermione Lamer ARE TOTALLY RUBBISH.

ButtFender (9 out of 10 )
The movie left a lot out but if they didn't it would be like 5 hours long! The graphics were amazing.

Rachael (10 out of 10 )
I thought it was fantastic and Cedric Diggory was LUSH. He did a great job and should get other opportunities. Harry Potter is a good actor, Emma Watson has style and Rupert known as Ron is very funny! Fleur is pretty. Victor Krum OK. Cedric sexy!

Luke (6 out of 10 )
I'm so happy fanboys and girls could comment, but the script simply lacks. The jumping around is somewhat annoying and to those that haven't read the book, it's downright damn confusing. Alright script, but not worth it for those who have yet to read the book and become a little fanboy/girl.

Caroline (9 out of 10 )
Hi, I was just going through the GOF script when I found a couple of mistakes in the first few lines itself. When Moody shows himself, Hermione says, 'auror' and not 'aura'. Ron says, 'The dark wizard catcher' and not 'he is a catcher'. Will point out more when I come across any more mistakes. Anyway, GoF is my favorite movie. I simply love the way how things move in this movie without butchering the book much. Thanks to Kloves!

Fleur Delacour's Man (10 out of 10 )
This movie was awesome! I love the parts with Fleur Delacour in it. She is so hot. I don't know what is wrong with the people that put a rating 5 or below. The actors were great. The two new schools were fantastic. Beauxbatons and Drumstang don't stand a chance against Hogwarts! I do agree that they rushed through the world cup. But the tasks were all the same as the book described them. I love the hedge maze! I LOVE YOU FLEUR DELACOUR!

emily (10 out of 10 )
I loved it! I love all the HP movies but that was the best one. As they grow older it gets better, so I hope that number 5 will be even better.

Iria (8 out of 10 )
The movie was very good. It was action-centred, just as one could expect it to be, it had suspense, magic, humour, everything that makes the HP series great. It's useless to compare PoA to GoF. They're completely different movies - PoA is more introspective, GoF is like a thriller. They both do what they're supposed to do. While overall, I prefer PoA, GoF did something I didn't expect and that really pleased me: for the first time I really had the impression to actually see the characters on screen, not some actors who pretended to be them. Harry was even more like Harry than in the third film, Ron was for the first time Ron, Hermione was Hermione, maybe a little too much for my taste ... their friendship (especially Harry and Ron's) was done justice, too, and really, even with the other characters' characterisation, I have nothing to complain about. To sum up: Characterisation, Columbus slaughtered it, Cuaron saved it, Newell perfected it. I also disagree that the movie left out too much from the book. This is cinema, not literature - you have to cut things that do not relate to the story. Who cares about the back story of some characters? Who cares about who won the Quidditch Cup? Actually, I think it could have been cut completely. This is the story of Voldemort's return, after all. If something becomes important later, then it has to be introduced later, not three films early. And personally, I'm not too willing to sit through a 5 hour long movie, not matter how much I loved the book. This is the thing about Peter Jackson's movies: they had potential, but they were much too long. But I agree that the beginning and the end were too quick and, for non-readers, potentially confusing. If the minutes used for the whole Quidditch Cup had been used for Voldemort's scene, it would have had a much better effect. But ah well, nothing's perfect. I'm looking forward to the fifth film.

phoenixwizard (3 out of 10 )
Mike Newell is a fool. I loved the book and was so excited to see this movie. Into the first 15 minutes I could tell they screwed the book. I mean why was Barty jr. in the riddle house? Where were Bagman, Winky, Dobby and the story? We don't see the Quiddich world cup, Krum has two lines oh my god. Chris and Alfonso had the series going good. But no, we must have a british director. I hope Steve Kloves and Mike Newell never come back. And J.K Rowling said the script was good! Come on I guess she's just in it for the money.

JOHN (8 out of 10 )
Better than POA. Funny, adventurous, but different from the book. When could we have the original script, the first draft?

amir (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter 4 was the best film that I ever have seen.

Dasiy (5 out of 10 )
I loved the book but the movie was sad. It was a little scary for the average ages that watch the movies.

Aurora (6 out of 10 )
Look I have to say, I am a big fan of the books and I understand that to turn a novel into a film that you have to make some sacrifices but admittedly I was disappointed to see how much crucial information was cut. But honestly come on! Those who say "It was awful!" I would personally like to see you do better but also to those who say "It was brilliant and it was the best Potter film yet" I respect your decision, but when the time comes for the big important moments and themes that should have been well developed in the fourth movie and weren't, you'll realise that the fourth film wasn't that great. In short good but not great.

Miss Malfoy (10 out of 10 )
I loved this movie. It was verry well made. I have never read the story but I think that the movie was a bit better than the book.

draco malfoy 13 (7 out of 10 )
I loved this movie! But I'm not a big fan of the director, my fave director was Chris Columbus who directed the first 2 films. Alfonzo Cuaron who directed the third movie was my least fave. Thiis movie was off the hook, I loved the thrills and the action but was also majorly disappointed. It was good but it wasn't the best.

Angela (8 out of 10 )
I think Harry Potter 4 is the best from all the HP's so far. Though I'm a bit disappointed when I didn't see Winky! Well maybe in the next movie.

Ashley (10 out of 10 )
This movie was amazing! I'm a huge Harry Potter geek, I really likes Ron's dressrobe that he had to wear at the Yule ball, it was hilarious!! I nearly cried when Cedric Digory passed away he was so charmming! *(Tee-hee!)*. I cannot wait until the next movie. Harry, Ron and Hermione are gonna be so much older.

Katelyn (8 out of 10 )
I liked this one a lot! As a MEGA HP fan I did feel it was a really far stretch from the book at some points. I was a little disappointed that Winky wasn't in it and that Sirius was in it for a very short period of time, but the thing that bummed me out the most is that Rita Skeeter didn't turn out to be a beetle. Still, overall this is my favorite Harry Potter film.

Khrust (10 out of 10 )
Hello! My name is Timur and I'm from Russia, rightly from the Republic of Buruatia. I'm a Harry Potter's FAN! And on this site I find excellent screenplays (or scripts) but in English. But it is not so difficult to read it, because I very like to learn english. And I usually see films in original track. Thank you IMSDB for this beautiful scripts bank!

HarryPotterFanForever (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is definitely my all-time favourite movie. No matter what! The graphics, the cast, the script, the crew - everything was perfect. Though many things were left out, they stayed true to JK Rowling's fabulous novel of magic, bravery and friendship.

Sarah (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter is getting better by the film, I can still remember watching the first and thinking 'but the next one won't be as good, they never are'. How wrong was I, they have been getting better and better and I can't wait until 'The Order of the Pheonix' comes out. Harry Potter (all of them) are my favourite films. Thanks to all the actors that made these films, you're all great.

Hermione's twin (9 out of 10 )
The GoF is totally awesome. Yes I agree the scriptwriter did cut quite a bit, but hey the acting's good, the thrill is thrilling and Dan's cute (Especially up close). Once again GoF was good, but OotP is better! Woops! I was supposed to keep that hush-hush but the beans are spilled. Look for yours truly when it comes out!

Lacrymosa (8 out of 10 )
Well it was a great film, yeah it was! But they had cut some really interesting and significant information that was necessary for the film to go on with no problems! I liked the script and I could say that the film was fabulous but for those who have read the book, it is a bit diasappointing! Anyway, it was one of my faves. I love it! Does anybody know if I could read the OoTP script?

WikiRob (7 out of 10 )
Harry Potter: GOF is another hilarious vision by a director. Can't wait until OOTP comes out to see what they've done to it. They don't need to be ENTIRELY faithful.

Lynn (7 out of 10 )
Comparing just the movies, Goblet of Fire is probably my favorite. However compared to the book, GoF the movie is lacking at best. I understand having to cut things out because the book was so long, but I'm still a bit disappointed. I read the book after seeing the movie and was surprised by how much they cut out. It was almost like reading something completely different. Also, the entire layout of Hogwarts changed from PoA to GoF. If they're going to cut so many things out, they should at least be consisent.

kjart (9 out of 10 )
I didn't expect the movie to have everything in the book, there is just too much. A movie is a different medium altogether. I loved all the Harry Potters, but loved this the most. Congratulations to the core cast and to Mike - with one exception and that was Dumbledore. He admits he doesn't read the original material and plays parts as himself. Michael Gambon is definitely NOT Dumbledore, and he didn't bother to find out what his charcacter is like.

craig (3 out of 10 )
Good movie, but not like the book. Missed out the good parts that are in the book. Hope film 5 is better and keeps to the book.

felicien (9 out of 10 )
This movie is amazing. I have nothing to add.

Dd (8 out of 10 )
Great film, great acting, great characters. GREAT!

raechal (10 out of 10 )
Hot guys, people dying, Hermione and Ron arguing. Hagrid in love. WOW TOTALLY BRILL. I can't wait for the next movie.

harryishot (10 out of 10 )
It was a great movie but Daniel Radcliffe is a terrible actor. Hot, but terrible and the book is really different to the movie.

Hermione's BEST friend (10 out of 10 )
Gosh what are you talking about. I mean, the actorss?! And the special effects?! And come ON, think about the director?! IT WAS WICKED AWESOME.

brooke (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best movie in the world. I love the movie so much. I read the book along with it. Daniel, Emma and Rupert are the best people to play the parts in the movies.

abby (10 out of 10 )
I love the Harry Potter movies. I own all four of them.

Abby (10 out of 10 )
Daniel and Rupert are hot.

Julie (9 out of 10 )
I thought this movie was brilliant. The acting was great. I love Harry Potter and I can't wait for the 5th movie to come out, it should be good because the book was excellent!

Tori (10 out of 10 )
It rocks. I know all the words nearly. Thanks so much for the opportunity to read it.

teenie (9 out of 10 )
Love the books, love the movies. Can't wait for #5 OotP. Although in this one, in comparison to the other 3 this one is not my favorite(probably PoA is) just because the book was so long that the movie could not have everything that the book did. Still the whole series so far is pretty good and almost up to par with movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, and Star Wars.

HP lover (10 out of 10 )
Woooo. I am one of the biggest fans of HP. I know I am such a dork. I even got the wands from the 4th movie. Giggle giggle! I don't know why, but I kind of fell in love with Viktor Krum, the Bulgarian Bon-Bon. I just can't help it. How could you not love all the movies.

Kailey (10 out of 10 )
Harry Potter is the best so far! As Ron, Harry, and Hermione get older they mature and the story line gets thicker.

flo (8 out of 10 )
For a start, Ron, Cedric, Barty crouch JUNIOR and Crum are all very cute! Especially Barty Crouch jnr (David Tennant) but the film did miss out loads of the book. I was really looking forward to the sphinx, Rita Skeeter, the beetle and Winky the house elf. But apart from that a good film. I cried when Harry got back to Hogwarts with Cedric. Oh well.

brandon (10 out of 10 )
When I went to watch harry potter I thought it was wonderful because when he found out that madeye moody put his name in the goblet of fire he suddenly realised that mad eye moody was not the proper one. The proper one was in the chest and he became the new teacher in hogwarts with both his eyes I thought it was a great experience for me to see it.

hector (10 out of 10 )
This was the best of all the harry potter movies there have been.

amber (7 out of 10 )
Goof in the movie and script but no one seems to notice. The goof is Hermione says come on ron your mother says breakfast is ready but when they are at the tent arthur weasly says come on ron get out of the kitchen we are all hungry.

miss granger (4 out of 10 )
I think it was off the point and the new Dumbledore is horrible. The book is so much better but Cedric was very cute.

cedrics girlfriend (6 out of 10 )
I think cedric is so cute. I know a lot of girl out there think so too. The movie was not the best it could have been better. They left out too many important things.

Kate (5 out of 10 )
Harry Potter fans just cannot vote that this was a "great" movie just because they loved the book! This movie was bad. If only JK Rowling could write a movie script instead of this embarrassing fourth grade dialog that made a lot of money and managed to accomplish little else. Watch Lord of the Rings (money AND awards, including Best Picture at the Oscars) for good fantasy.

Aislinn (6 out of 10 )
I thought the movie was okay. Dumbledore was horrid, but other than that they did a pretty good job. Fred and George were awesome, of course. As someone pointed out above though, this transcript has several errors, which make it rather obvious that whoever did it either hasn't read the books or was being particularly careless. For example, the term is "Auror", not "aura"; Harry's owl's name is Hedwig, not Edwin; it was only thirteen years since Voldemort's downfall, not thirty; etc. I appreciate the work the transcriber put into the transcript, but they really should at least try to get elementary things like those right. I mean, come on.

Joe (8 out of 10 )
Firstly, the movie was really good. It gave enough of the storyline so that we could all understand what it is that the story is about. The picture was great. All sets were taken to the max quality possible. They kept it all believable. I have to say it was not Lord of the Rings but HP and LOTR shouldn't be put in the same category, they are both completely different stories, it is starting to piss me off how Harry Potter fans are like, LOTR sucks and LOTR fans are like HP sucks when they can't be compared.

justamuggle (6 out of 10 )
The really only major problem I had with the movie is the casting departments pick for Viktor Krum. The way they went with his character in the movie is 110% different than the character in the book. In the book he's goofy, skinny, and awkward. In the movie he's this big, handsome, well scultpted guy, very poor decision I think.

Jared (9 out of 10 )
I think it's the best Harry Potter movie yet. The 1st task with the dragons was awesome. The underwater task was way better than the dragons though. But the maze, what a frightening task. But they didn't make it the way it was in the book. But the graveyard with Voldemort was the scariest part in the movie. Even Voldemort looks scary. The only parts that a lot of Harry Potter fans wouldn't like is the Yule ball, it's too boring.

Leah (10 out of 10 )
This film is the best thing that has happened to international television! The acting is ace and emma watson is very pretty!

Amazing film, but poor adaptation. Where is Winky? SPEW? Ludo Bagman? Bertha Jorkins? I hate to be a nitpicking fanboy, but seriously, they added about twenty extra minutes of their own stuff when they could have been focusing on the important subplots . It seems these days, when it comes to book-to-film adaptation, you can get one or the other of a great film or a faithful film; you can't get both. It's the same here: great film, crap transitional adaptation.

I just have to say that I know a lot of people who have no taste, Daniel Radcliffe has the whole package: the looks, the acting ability and the genuine smile. Emma Watson shows us how it is done and there is nothing to say about Rupery Grint he is just perfect for the part of Ron. I know a lot of people think differently to my view but if you put Paris Hilton as Hermione Granger, Kevin Federline as Ron Weasley and David Beckham as Harry Potter then you could say it was bad, but with the acting ability of Dan, Em and Rupert it is ace!

Harry Potter is the best series of films and books I have ever come across and I am now reading the fifth book. I have ALL of the Harry Potter books and films so far.
