King Kong is a very nice movie. After watching the movie, I feel that King Kong was like a hero, who saved its best friend, Ann Darrow during a fight with a T-rex.

I cried. Yes, I cried when Kong lost his dignity. And his life. It's one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. I cried a lot. I cried myself to sleep. This movie really struck a chord with me. Great job, Peter Jackson. And shame on the Academy for ignoring Naomi Watts! She deserved an Oscar for this. She was wonderful.

One of the best movies I've seen in a while. Peter Jackson does it again.

I actually thought this movie was terrifying! It jerked my emotions around like. Something that gets jerked around a lot! Ooh. I got one-- like Britney Spears! *oh no she didnt!*.

Great movie! I still don't know why King Kong turned big.

This movie was too weird. You could tell it was all cgi and it sucked!

Tom (10 out of 10 )
It is a wicked movie, I love it!

I loved this movie Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson wrote this screenplay with so much talent. The only this that is wrong with the film is that it was too long. The film only needed to run for 90 minutes, but it runs for 188 minutes. All the actors where great, especially JACK BLACK. He is a comedy actor and no one thought that he would pull off this role as well as he did. The special effects are so realistic you forget that it is CGI. When you watch the film you forget that you are watching actors. You forget that there is a script, you forget that there is a director - it is that good. Peter Jackson is attached to direct THE LOVELY BONES this year, I can't wait.

Sorry bud, but this has to be the best possible CGI to date and if you're focusing on the realism of it then you've clearly missed the fantastic story which is a shame. Although I do have to agree it was a bit too long. I love Peter Jackson and I've also heard that he's joining with Microsoft to do "Halo" but I do not know how true this is.

AAGGHHH! Man. King Kong is one of those movies that you want to hate, but you love. I hated the story line - I really did, but the movie is so well done (as far as the acting and others) that I just can't. Also, my favorite director made it; Peter Jackson.

I absolutely ADORE this film. Peter Jackson is possibly the best director of our time. My dream is to meet him so I can tell him to have my babies. Also, can anyone tell me Captain Englehorn's first name? Or, if not, simply his nationality? I can't place his accent precisely and I need his first name for a fanfic.

This has to be one of the best films ever made. The storyline was great and was worth the 3 hours it took. Peter Jackson is such a wonderful director and I look up to him a lot. I'm just sad he won't be directing The Hobbit, because he did a great job on LOTR trilogy.

Yogi (9 out of 10 )
Really good movie with excellent performance from Jack Black and Naomi Watts. Directing such a flawless script is very difficult and Peter Jackson did it wonderfully.

Clayton (8 out of 10 )
It is a good movie. Too much CGI though, I would have liked to have seen just a little stop-motion at least. I don't like how Peter Jackson changed the original concept of him being a vicious rapist monster from the original and into a cute, cuddly teddy bear. And Lyn, Thomas Kretchsman, the man who played Englehorn used his native accent and he is German, so you might have now guessed that Englehorn is German. And according to King Kong 1933 lore, his first and middle name is Joseph Clegmont. So it's Captain Joseph Clegmont Englehorn.

A CGI gala. Exceptional screenplay with brilliant characterization of all three leads. Tremendous emotional foreground. No slack whatsoever in the scripting. Overall a deserving 10 out of 10.

I think the movie was very good. The actors did very well, especially Jack Black. The creatures were done very well, not puppets (except the Brutornis). The scenery was great, looked like 1933. The scenes were also much better, especially the bug pit (the old bug pit is terrible). King Kong has got to be one of my favorite movies. I was very sad when Kong died.

I too was incredibly sad when Kong died. Oddly enough, in other films of King Kong, I didnt. They just didnt touch me like this movie did. And, Captain Englehorn was played him this time around. Captain Elgnehorn was my favorite character, only because it was portrayed by Thomas Kretschmann. He's such an outstanding actor. I loved him in Valkyrie.

Nathan (10 out of 10 )
The definitive version of a much loved Hollywood movie. Brilliant Peter Jackson. Absolutely brilliant. Kong is my hero. Going off on a very wacky tangent, I watched Cloverfield a while after King Kong and it's kind of therapeutic to see this giant space monster laying waste to NYC. Now that's the sort of karma you get for gunning down such a wonderful beautiful inspiring guy like Kong.

I can't stop my tears falling from my eyes when king kong and ann look in each others eyes for last time. Then he fell down.

I hated it. Worst ending ever. And honestly I wanted I see the Indian/psycho natives shot but oh well.
