This was an excellent script, I would like to see this in theaters with current FX technology and current actors.

I have seen this film 43 times in the last 20 years. I love it. Very imaginative script, suspenseful. What can I say. I must have been 16 or so the first time I saw it, has been my favorite ever since.

I loved it. I have been reading this the last couple days at work and the script it great. Great idea! I love the way they get energy it reminds me of the movie Southland Tales, Fluid Karma. The script was an easy read only a dozen or so spelling errors that I saw I would like to see an updated version of this movie come out. When reading the last 100 lines of the script it made me imagine Planet of the apes. Great read.

Just watched bits of my Logan's Run DVD. It was the first film I went to see in the theatre where I paid my own way and didn't go with my parents. It was 1976 and I was 14. It made a great impact on me. I was trying to find the part where Peter Ustinov says something like "you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time". I couldn't find it. Is it my bad memory; I could have sworn he said that as since 1976, I've credited this movie with that saying which I use a lot! Let me know. Cheers.

Well, though no dates posted here, my last post was about a week ago (in Jan. 2012). Anyway, I focused on the part where they meet Old Man onwards twice straight the way through and I couldn't find the scene I mentioned above. Lord knows I've been attributing this movie with that quote since I was 14 in 1976! I guess it's because I didn't know Peter Ustinov before. I can hear his voice and sort of see his image but it's perhaps from another film. So I've wrongly credited Logan's Run with (I finally know the quote properly): "You can please all of the people, some of the time. And you can please some of the people, all of the time. But you can't please all of the people, all of the time". It was great seeing this film again. Though I bought the DVD some years ago, it's amazing how I haven't watched it more times than I have. This film never got the recognition it deserves. It truly is a great film and much more relevant now than it was then. I keep wondering how we'll survive all we've done to this wonderful planet of ours. Logan's world always seemed to awful, but really, it'll be paradise compared to what the reality will likely be.

It might be you remembered the part where Peter Ustinov says'. All the people all the time.' I send you part of a transcript of the film. INTERIOR. SENATE CHAMBER. DAY. LOGAN: May we stay here? We'd like to rest awhile. OLD MAN: Of course. This belongs to the people. JESSICA: What belongs to the people? OLD MAN: Certainly does. All of it. JESSICA: What people? OLD MAN: All of them. It's marked on the wall someplace. All the people, all the time. Shall not. I'll be right back. The man smiles and leaves.
