This is an awesome movie. Original, intelligent and chock full of Mel Brooks' signature maniac humor. If it wasn't for this amazing script he wrote, Mel Brooks wouldn't be where he is now.tony (10 out of 10 )
Awesomely funny. The movie that continues to promote Mel Brooks as a comedy genius. Paved the way for other great films as well, I. E. History of the World Part 1, Young Frankenstien, Silent Movie, ect.qubit (8 out of 10 )
Despite the fact that this is miscategorized (it's not the musical version) it's an excellent script. Very funny.
