Too bad this isn't the final draft of the script, the one they used. (Unless there was a heck of a lot of ad-libbing). I remember distinctly (just watched it the other day) that after Karl hugs Frank at the end, he says, "I love you, boy," and Frank says, "I love you too." THEN Karl gets up and leaves. That was one of my favorite moments in the movie.
