This script is decent and much better than the movie. There are some very good scares, as well as some funny sequences. Unfortunately it drags a bit from time to time.

Great script and a great horror/comedy. It's surprising it did so poorly at the box office.

Rom Sade (7 out of 10 )
I'm just in the middle of reading this, but I saw the first 10 minutes of the film and it's not the same. I guess it's a first draft. Just for the record, the rating is for what I've read so far.

I love the movie and I love the script. My favorite part is when Kylie is in the bath tub and she gets attacked by them things.

Christienna (8 out of 10 )
I love both movie/script. It was surprising to me how many people gave it a thumbs down not understanding that it was supposed to be amusing.

Super-Fan (9 out of 10 )
Oh yes I did enjoy this one. The suspense was great but I will not give it a ten because the script seems better than the movie and that does not impress me.

Judson (7 out of 10 )
Definitely liked the film better than the script. The shooting script is different from this one, which seems to be a trend. The shooting script was way better, better ending and funnier. As a whole this script is pretty close to the shooting script though, dialog and all. A good read.

Don't let the sun catch you crying, don't let the moon catch you crying, or the sun will blind you and the moon will freeze you.

When I first saw this movie I was all alone in the middle of a corn field. It scared the poop out of me. Something slithered by my leg and I stabbed it with a toothbrush. Turns out it was a snake. MY SNAKE. Ouch.

Colgrym (9 out of 10 )
I really enjoyed the movie, still do on the reruns and the changes from the script all work for me. Improved the pace and the story. I'm assuming this was an early draft (and a good one) but much better balanced in the final product.

Ann (8 out of 10 )
Not as funny as the finished script. Much darker. Action a little faster, but I liked the down-south pace and deadpan, funny comments from characters. Too many died in this version. The film ending was more neutral. Not happy, but not awful. You can see the humor added and the more upbeat ending. Turned out a great horror comedy very balanced.
