Amadis DVD Ripper
First and foremost for those who don't know, a DVD Ripper is a piece of software
that can take the information from a DVD disc in your drive and store it as
a file on your PC. From there you can either watch it on your PC monitor or
write it to a blank DVD. This is useful because it allows you to backup your
movies, in the event of a disc getting damaged you will have a copy ready.
There are several of these programs available on the market and I went through many of them
trying to find a suitable one to present here. The others I tried were at best awkward to use and at
worst they just plain didn't work properly. Then I came across Amadis DVD Ripper.
Amadis DVD Ripper really sets itself apart. It has the features you want while
still keeping a clean interface which is easy to use. You can turn your DVD
into the following formats:
- VideoCD (MPEG1)
- Super VideoCD (MPEG2)
- AVI (DivX, MPEG4)
If you'd like to try it out for yourself click the Download button for a free trial.
